Ilove my SPF. Quality parts. Great workmanship. Except for the cheap hood prop. There used to be someone who made them from stainless, but no more. Anyone replace it with something better?

I agree that the hood prop is a bit downscale. I had mine powder coated glossy black. Looks not so ugly now.

Thanks for the idea... I removed the hood prop and the ancillary hardware, painted the hardware with black wrinkle finish paint and am having the rod powder coated.
It already looks better.
