Is it really worth the extra money for a continuation car? Are they going to hold their value better in the future or just be another replica?

Personally, I looked at both 5 years ago and opted for the SPF as I didn't like the seating position of the CSX and didn't care if it had ole shel's name on the MSO. This was before the price increases so both were within $10k of each other.
I think, there will always be those that want to own a "genuine Shelby cobra" but can't afford a "real" one so they will be willing to pay for the continuation cars in order to tell all their buddies that they own a real cobra.
Worth the additional $$$$, not to me.

I agree I can't see spending $30 to $40,000 more for the CSX car.
