I have the MT sportsman S/R radial tires on my Cobra and really like them. I have the 26x12x15 on the rear and 26x10x15 on the front. Also, the speed rating is published as being 130mph. Again, the info is on the MT website. I really like the looks and the performance of this tire. I believe the Avon tires will balance and run a bit more true. I will be replacing these with new MT's when the time comes unless something better comes along within the next year or two. My two cents.

The MT "S/R" tires have worked very well. The MT "E/T" tires are drag radials and while some have used them, they are intended as a drag tire and are not optimized to go round corners! They are also designed to go on the rear only where steering feel is not a concern.
Keep in mind the speed ratings on tires are indicative of a one hour test at rated speed. Unless you are on the Autobahn I doubt you will run your car for an hour at 130 plus.

So what's the conversion for a 295/50/15?
