My Cobra is on the stands having the intake gaskets replaced and oil changed. I will be replacing the coolant and was looking for recommendations from the Cobra crowd.
Thanks in advance.

Evans coolant works the best. It's used by lots of race car drivers in nascar. Advantages are that it will not develop any pressure at the cap, even when the engine is hot. It can keep a engine 20 to 30' cooler than using 50/50 antifreeze. This product cannot be mixed with ANY antifreeze what so ever...

Cheaper than Evans is simply Water Wetter and distilled water. If you breakdown on the road, you will NOT find Evans at your local Autozone or NAPA store. I have used Water Wetter for years and it doesn't make a slippery, never-dries mess if I have to change a gasket. And my running temps are actually quite cool as well (the fans still turn on at 95*C and the car never gets over 100).

The water/water wetter is good but if you want freeze protection etc. the current Ford yellow anti-freeze is highly thought of amongst engine builders. It is sold as "Ford Gold Coolant" and is HOAT type.
