First why is the GT40 so more expensive than the Cobra and second can you get A/C?

A/C is standard equipment on the street cars. And the GT is more expensive as it is a VERY complex build compared to the MK III. The GT40 is built as original, i.e. a stamped, folded and welded monocoque chassis tub, cast uprights, steel roof, etc. Just assembling the tub takes more time than almost the whole MK III build. Look at these pictures of a tub under assembly and some of the costs involved will be obvious. www.timemachinesauto.com/Photo_Gallery.php

What is your favorite between the GT40, Cobra, Daytona or Grand Sport? For all the marbles, a GT40. For a fun ride and overall use a Cobra. The GT40 is sold and we will be replacing it with a 289 MK II "Cobra" as a demo car.

I don't think I could get rid of the Cobra for the GT40 because I like the open top experience. My wife also enjoys riding in the Cobra. I would have to add the GT40 to the stable. Need to save some funds to do that.
