Had a great ride yesterday.
It was my buddy Ray's birthday, so his girlfriend got him over to our house on some pretext and surprised him with a ride in my SPF. So with them in the small-block car, and my wife and I in the Hi-Tech, we did a tour around Lake Winnipesaukee. It was a beautiful sunny day and a joy to be out in the Cobra. About a 4 hour trip with a break for ice cream in Wolfeboro, where we met another enthusiast with a Factory 5 car. Being out in the Cobra is even better when we take both cars out...the double takes people do when two bright red Cobras blast by is fun to see.
My wife noticed me wrestling with the steering wheel on the broken pavement of some of our roads and instructed me to order new tires. I really hate to give up the look of the Billboards, but they just aren't right for the roads I love to drive up here in NH.....sigh. I think I'll get the Coopers that I have on the SPF, which I like. Maybe I'll have to get a Goodyear stencil and fake the Billboard look...but those fat sidewalls can never be replicated :-(

Bill sounds like a great time! My wife and I went to a graduation open house yesterday and on the way back I asked if we could take the long way home she said sure.
We are having fun discovering new two lane roads near our house and I'm surprised how much she is liking driving In the Cobra. In fact it was her idea to drive it to the open house!
Need pics of your 2 cars together.
